Leo is sired by Land of Oz Jett and out of Dynasty---a cross that has consistently produced police K9s, schutzhund and french ring competitors.

The pups are now 8 weeks old and they have met our every expectation, incredible fight drive at a very young age, super ball drive and skin piercing grips, we consider this the magic cross for Izzy that will be repeated, Thanks to Mike Garrow for allowing us the opportunity to breed to Leo and to continue this line of excellent working Dutch Shepherds.

This contract is entered into this the ___ day of ___________, 2008 between Vandalia Kennel, hereinafter referred to as “Seller” and (see below) , hereinafter referred to as “Buyer”for the purchase of a Dutch Shepherd described as follows:

2. SALE PRICE: $______________ (10% discount to law enforcement)

$250 non-refundable deposit required to reserve a puppy. Deposits are refundable if pup dies or has a serious genetic defect detected by Seller prior to shipping. Payments may be made by check, cash or money order. If payment is made by check, seller will not transfer or ship dog until 14 days after check has been deposited and has cleared the bank. Once final payment is made and sale price is paid in full, seller will then transfer dog to buyer.

3. SHIPPING

Seller agrees to ship the dog to buyer via airline out of Dulles, IAD airport in Washington, DC or Reagan International Airport in Washington, DC once payment is received in full. Dog will be shipped either by COD for payment by Buyer at point of delivery or by pre-paid shipment by Buyer sending Seller shipping costs in full that includes the cost of a crate. Buyer must pre-pay for the crate, health papers and shipping if pre-paid prior to the dog being shipped by either method. Seller will advise Buyer the exact amount of the shipping costs prior to shipping. Crate cost is estimated to be less than $50.00. Shipping cost is roughly estimated to be between $200-$400. Health paper costs are estimated to be $60.00. Buyer assumes responsibility for the dog once the dog is turned over to the airline. Seller will insure the dog at the Buyer’s option if the Buyer desires. Buyer is responsible for pre-payment or COD payment to the airline for said insurance cost.

All pups shall be picked up or Buyer shall be available for receipt of pup via airline shipping within 10 days notice of Buyer, absent weather conditions that prevent shipping due to temperature restrictions. If Buyer is unable to pick up or receive pup after 10 days notice from Buyer, Buyer shall be responsible for a daily boarding fee of $10.00 per day that is due prior to Seller delivering the pup to Buyer.

4. GUARANTEE

.

The dog is guaranteed to be generally healthy at the time of purchase to the best of the Seller’s knowledge. To keep this guarantee in effect, Buyer must have the dog examined by a licensed veterinarian, DVM, within 4 days from the date of receipt of the puppy. All veterinarian fees shall be the sole responsibility of the Buyer. Should the vet find the dog does not pass a healthy puppy exam, the pup may be returned to Seller within 2 days of the failed vet exam. Seller shall return the UKC registration application and all other paperwork set forth above to Seller at the time of the return of the dog and provide on vet letterhead the reason why the pup failed the exam. Buyer agrees to be responsible for all shipping costs to the Seller, should the Buyer decide to return the dog to the Seller due to a failed health exam. The health exam is to be an exam for the purposes of general health and to be free from contagious diseases only.

Seller does provide a 2 year genetic health guarantee that guarantees a replacement puppy of Seller’s choice should the Seller’s puppy be determined by OFA to not have normal hips or elbows.

Buyer acknowledges that he/she understands this contract fully and that this contract is under the laws of the state of West Virginia. Should a dispute arise regarding this contract, buyer agrees to binding mediation in West Virginia as the avenue of recourse. This contract may only be modified in writing.
